Favicon loading slow?

Hello,
Any ideas why the favicon is taking such a long time to load / why there is such a big time gap for it to load?
You can check out the waterfall on GTmetrix. The favicon is the last thing on the page.

I know the Pagespeed is already really good but I am wondering if there is any way to optimize that.

The developer network tools actually showed that the favicon wasn't delayed in being requested just another request was still downloading something that didn't show up on GTMetrix.... might be worth investigating to see if something similar is occurring.

I already have favicon saved as a small .png and uploaded it through the customizer like you recommended. Is there anything else I can do?
If not, it's not a huge deal.

This is a screenshot from the Network tab in the Browser Dev Tools. You can see your favicon - its being loaded almost immediately after the previous all the other requests are completed. So GTMetrix is not displaying the additional time to load those files - hence it looks like there is a pointless delay.
Ok so do you recommend just leaving things how they are?
