Facebook Icon inline with text in footer widget

I would like the Facebook logo to be on the left of the text and inline with paragraph text. I can then remove the title of the widget and save some space. I'm using GeneratePress lightweight social icons.
Hi there,
Not sure if I can picture it.
We can definitely hide the title "Connect with us on Facebook" but where do you want the icon?
Hi Leo,
Yes the heading I can just take it out of the widget but the text to be shown directly to the right of the Facebook logo like this screenshot, https://www.dropbox.com/s/ggn3rgd3m7wgls6/facebook-logo-text.png?dl=0
Sorry text to the shown on the right of the logo as shown in the screenshot.
I've added it as a font awsome icon but the f in the icon is transparent so the background of the page comes through. If I change the background-color of the icon it then adds padding around it which is white? Maybe I should just add it as an png image?
Hi there,
i can't see an icon on the screen now? Let me know
It's weird, showing up on some pages and not others. I can see it now on the home page, http://109.199.119.244/~localsce/aclass-decks-pergolas.com.au/
You can also see it on this screenshot, https://www.dropbox.com/s/qpo5oax6hcme1tv/Screenshot%202018-11-30%2009.48.28.png?dl=0
I've added it as an icon for a menu item and then added the menu item to the footer widget.
I'll try doing this another way.
Sounds good - let us know if you need more help :)
