Extra widget areas

Is it possible to add extra widget areas, for example I'd like to have a full width section above the footer with some latest blog posts and another one with reviews.

Hi there,

It's possible with custom PHP and our Elements module.

However, have you tried using our Footer Widgets? They might work for what you need.

Thanks - I have a few footer widgets along the bottom but was wondering if it is possible to add full width widgets above the footer. Kind of so it looks like the main content but appears on every page.

What if you set your Footer Widgets to display only 1 widget area?: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/footer-widgets/

That should make it go full width.
