Extra (custom) sidebars

I use for some time now generatepress, love it offcourse but now i am building woocommerce shop in it and want to have more then the standard sidebars
I used several plugins like custom widget, but when i create a new side bar they can not be used or choosed in the page editor.
in the dropdown on the page editor the new sidebars not appear

I did, i can create custom sidebars after adding plugin "classic widgets"
when i create a sidebar, and want to activate it. the new sidebar is not in the dropdown in page editor.
You don't select the sidebar from within the Page editor. When you create the sidebar you define where it should be displayed.
I am not aware of a plugin that provides a select option in the page editor
