Excerpts on pages

Hi, I understand how to show excerpts on posts in GP but how can I show them on pages?

Where would you use excerpt on static pages as there isn't a page that lists all pages like the blog page?
Let me know :)
It is for a new search facility and to show excerpts on the search results pages. But no worries, my developer coded it. Thanks anyways.
