Excerpt word count not function to Asian word

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please refer to post archive http://fairrenovation.com.hk/category/he-school/

Refer to screenshot https://prnt.sc/nyh0xr, I set the Content Type as Excerpt with 50 word count for Archives but I think it is not function to Asian word.

Is there any missing from my customization?

WordPress has some difficulty with that – this article here explains a method to fix that, i haven’t tested it:
