Events listing in Forefront

I am using Forefront and I need not only a blogs page/recent posts widget but an events page with upcoming events widget in addition to that. Upcoming events would be posted to a second blog-like list but different from blog entries they would be displayed by the event date and not the post date. Is anything like this available in Forefront, as an add-on, or elsewhere?

I'm afraid I'm not aware of any plugins that will do what you're looking for out of the box. I recently developed something very similar for a client, but it was completely custom.
You may have luck searching for "custom post type wordpress plugins".
How much would it cost to develop this? Let's say you develop it for us, but also offer it as an add-on to your themes?
