Hi there,

I just pushed my staging site to go live and right away on ahrefs I got some site health errors saying that I had tons of 404 errors to pages with my standard URLs plus /terms at the end.

For example:
https://lifehealthhq.com/contact/terms
https://lifehealthhq.com/category/fitness/terms

Apparently these links are all over the site and I'm not sure where they are coming from or how to disable them. Any idea you know what this would be?

Hi Megan,

GP doesn't interact with permalinks, they are handled by Wordpress or plugin if you are using one.

So I don't think it's a theme issue.

Check the setting at dashboard > settings > permalinks first, try resave the permalink settings.

I'm not seeing anything weird with the permalinks, it's just https://domain.com/sample-post/ setup for permalinks. I think it must have to do w/ something GP did because I didn't get this error before.

Hi there,

the theme doesn't interfere at all with permalink structures and it most definitely won't generate spurious links.
It sounds more likely that the process of pushing the staging to live created some issue. Might be worth checking with your host as they may have some insight on that.
