    Hello
Yesterday the website was updated with the latest version of Genreatpress and generatepress plugin premium
An email came through from worpdress that the plugin generated an error and with the new worpdress 5.2 functionality, that helps you recover the website although its crashed, sent a login link.
The website is not down, but wanted to know how to fix this ?

    This is the email:

    Howdy!

Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, GP Premium.

First, visit your website (https://websitelink.com/) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (https://websitelink.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php) and check for any visible issues.

Please contact your host for assistance with investigating this issue further.

If your site appears broken and you can’t access your dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special “recovery mode”. This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.

To keep your site safe, this link will expire in 1 day. Don’t worry about that, though: a new link will be emailed to you if the error occurs again after it expires.

Error Details ============= An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 19 of the file /www/wp-content/plugins/gp-premium/backgrounds/generate-backgrounds.php. Error message: require(): Failed opening required ‘/www/wp-content/plugins/gp-premium/backgrounds/functions/functions.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/php’)

    Thanks

    Hi there,

Basically it’s saying that this file doesn’t exist: gp-premium/backgrounds/functions/functions.php

It definitely exists in the plugin, so it’s possible that the error was generated as you were updating and the file was replaced. Are there any errors on your site right now?
