[Resolved] error message on image upload

I can’t upload any image files to a Page. Get an error message indicating file type not allowed because of “security” issue. Does this have anything to do with GP or is it a WP issue? I can’t get any useful help from WP on this.

What’s the exact error?

This is most likely a server error – try giving your hosting a call and seeing if they can see the issue.

Eror message is “This file type is not permitted for security reasons.” I am hosted by Network Solutions. I’ll call them tomorrow and see if they can find the problem in their server. I’m not optimistic about that, however. I’ll get back to you when I know.

Image upload issues are hosting related 99% of the time, so hopefully Network Solutions (not always helpful in my experience) is able to fix that for you.
