[Support request] Error message installing GeneratePress Premium from 1.7.2 to… 1.7.2

For some reason all versions received (3rd year now) bear the version number 1.7.2… but anyway, I’m trying to install the new version (paid for and downloaded today), but get this message:

Destination folder already exists. /mnt/web315/c2/49/51966849/htdocs/WordPress_01/wp-content/plugins/gp-premium/
Plugin installation failed.

I followed the steps provided (from WordPress: add new plugin, then upload, etc.).

What would be best for me to do? Probably a manual update? If so, do I have to delete the destination folder (as shown above) from my server?

Hi there,

you don’t need to install the latest version you downloaded today as the plugin is already up to date.
