Error in creating child theme

Hi there, I had this error when creating a child theme of GeneratePress. Please let me know if I can still continue creating one or do you have a plugin specifically for GeneratePress plugin. Appreciate a help. Thank you.

It says no valid plugins were found. Installation failed. I tried to test install this on staging. This is already a GeneratePress theme staging.

Hi shlomo,
It's returning an error because you're installing the child theme as a plugin instead of as a theme.
Child themes are installed through Appearance > Themes > Add new.
