Elements header image not displaying on blog page

I have WordPress 5.2.2, with GeneratePress 2.3 and GP Premium 1.8.3 installed. No caching plugin installed.
I created a page named "News" and set it as the blog page for the site.
Created a separate Element for the blog page, configured the settings to match the other Element I created for pages on the site.
Except I set it up to apply to the blog page only. (The other Element excludes the blog page).
All the settings I added to the blog page Element are working, the name of the page displays, the spacing allowed for the image, except the image behind the page name won't display.
I confirmed that the featured image is set on the "News" page.
Can you use a header Element on the Blog page? I re-read the Element documentation, but didn't see anything specifically stating it couldn't be used.
Any ideas what I'm missing?
Hi there,
You can't actually upload a featured image for the posts page as WordPress ignore all metaboxes by default on index pages.
Try the Custom Image option instead:

Let me know if this helps :)
Hi Leo,
Thanks for the quick response. Yes, that worked. Appreciate the info.
No problem :)
