Elementor's New 404 Template

Hi. I used Elementor's new 404 page template to redesign the page, and it works great - but I'd like the sidebar to show up, too. Elementor says I should use the default page layout to get the sidebar. Is there actually a way to do that in GP without writing some code? Or am I missing something?
I just found the settings within Elementor for the default layout, but it was already set for default.

Elementors theme templates override the theme templates, so as you have discovered default template doesn't work. What you can try is to add the Sidebar to the 404 template using their Sidebar Widget.
