[Support request] Elementor Pro and GP (slider not showing on main page)

Hi,

I thought I had opened a support ticket already but could not find confirmation of it or find it in the forums, so apologies if you do!

I just recently took over this site and dumped Divi for Elementor.

I’m using Elementor Pro and I have a slider on the main page which is not working (white blank space, no text, no images) but when I use the WP customizer, it shows up fine, only to revert back to a blank when I exit it.

When I try try to engage the “edit with elementor” button on any page it gives me “the preview could not be loaded” warning. I went to the Elementor page and followed a few of their steps:

I have tried the following solutions so far:

1. changed themes – it does get the text back on different themes (text and a button across the image)
2. disabled plugins one by one – no effect
3. emptied browser and wp cache – no effect

There are more solutions for me to explore on the elementor page, but I thought since changing the theme did bring the text back, that I’d bring it up with you.

Any ideas?

Hi there,

You’d have to check with Elementor support on this one unfortunately.

None of the code for the slider is coming from GP.

They should be able to help you out better 🙂
