elementor messy pages

Dear GP support,

My website is http://www.new.neighborhoodsun.solar/community/ and until this afternoon, just before I started tweak pages for handheld devices, things were looking great.

All pages are in elementor as it was the only way I could make the header sticky. After I edited header and footer templates for smaller screens within the elementor builder, I plugged those in and deleted the old ones in the pages, so I always had the same section/template on all pages, optimized for different screen sizes.

After editing header and footer, I started changing each page content and making it phone-friendly. A couple of hours later I realized that the pages started being messy. Most of the content is smashed into this column in the middle of the page, that’s it. The header is never messy, but the footer is always.Most of the pages now are as well

I’m using wordpress 4.8.2, a child theme of generate press 1.4, GP premium 1.4.3, and elementor 1.6.5. I deactivated a few plugins in the meantime just to make things less complicated, but the look of pages didn’t change. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
