element mobile featured image

dear GP,
when working with the element functions header image, using the featured image the image doesn’t seem to be accordingly scaled but cropped when viewed on mobile - any suggestion?

Hi there,
Background images aren't responsive by nature - it's not a theme thing.
You could try changing the padding for mobile:

If this doesn't help, can you link me to a page with header element so I can provide the best suggestion?

There really isn't a good way to deal with it other than changing the padding as mentioned above.
Might be better to just use the normal featured image since you don't want any content in it?
