    Trying to create a custom header for single posts and ran into 2 issue.

    Issue 1. I’d like the featured image to display in the header, merged with nav. I only want about 200px of the image to display but can’t get it to work. Instead, the full image height displays.

    What I tried:
    – added custom class “post-hero” to the header element
    – added custom css:

    /*BLOG HEADER ELEMENT*/
    .page-hero.post-hero{
    height: 200px;
    }

    Issue 2. There’s white space above the header I don’t want there.

    Hi there,

    1. Your Page Hero is set to full height, so the background image will take up that height. If you remove that option, it will only be as tall as your padding + the content.

    2. The white gap isn’t being caused by this custom CSS:

    .post-template-default {
        padding-top: 50px;
    }
