Hello,

I've installed the Charge demo from the site library. However, I would like the have a separate homepage (instead of using the blog). How can I accomplish this?

I tried creating a homepage template in the element section but it won't appear unless I select a page for the Home in Setting --> Reading. And when I move the template over to the page I assigned as Home, it appears squished up.

Thanks

Hi Dami,

I tried creating a homepage template in the element section

I'm not sure I understand what this means.

1. It seems you've created a static page and assigned it as the home page at settings > reading. This is the right way to do it.

2. Is there any specific reason you are using block elements to create the home page? Creating a static page like this usually doesn't require using block elements.

Let me know :)

Hi Ying,

When I created the blocks on the static Home page, it was very narrow. Didn't look good

It's already set to full width. I've recreated the blocks on the static Homepage so you see what I mean

Thanks. Is it possible to change the font size only on the homepage without css?

And also stop the footer widgets (Pages, Recent Posts, Search etc) from appearing on the homepage

Hi there,

your home page is a static page, that uses the WP Show Posts list. So a block element won't apply to there.
If you want to enable the Read More, you need to edit the WP Show Posts list, and make sure you have some text in the Content > Read More field.

Lets see if we can get that fixed first. And could you raise a separate topic regarding the center logo. It will stop the topics from getting overlapped and make it easier to find the answers later :)

Perfect, that added in the button. How can I change the colour of the button? It doesn't seem to be following the option I set in Customizing ▸ Colors > Buttons

Alright. I've opened one
