Hi there,

GP only makes the request for the <title> tag, of which i can only see one. And i am not sure what i am meant to be looking for in the two images ? Can you higlight the problem in the image?

Hello David,

Thanks for your quick response.

You can see from the row numbers on both images that the same meta properties are showing twice on every page. you can check for yourself too at view-source:https://taskforcebpo.com/

I tried disabling all plugins, did not helped. Only when I tried with the default (twentytwenty) template, the problem was gone.

Thanks

The Theme won't be adding duplicate title tags and it don't add property meta - those are coming from Yoast. So i would suspect theres an issue with how Yoast has been setup - disabling the Yoast plugin and clearing any plugin/server/browser caches should remove anything yoast adds including the Yoast comments. Then you can see if yoast is the cause.

We tested with Yoast (and every other plugin) on the default theme, and there was no problem. So our suspicion is that there is some kind of conflict between your template and Yoast. The thing is, we do want to keep it since it is paid and it has a lot of useful options.
It has to have some kind of solution, so we are hoping for your help

We use Yoast on the generatepress.com site. And there are no issues with it ie. No duplicate meta tags.
So something else must be conflicting with how Yoast is working. I would suggest first speaking with Yoast support to see if they have any idea why the html would have been duplicated. Let us know.
