Does new theme updates strip the CSS code we add to our sites?

Hi everyone,
I just wondered if all the CSS code we add to our sites will get stripped out on theme updates? Do I need to record all my CSS Additions?

Hi there,
No, IF the CSS is added using:
a) Additional CSS in Customizer
b) a Child Themes styles.css
c) a plugin.
Only changes made to the parent Themes files will get removed if you update the Theme.
