We used to have 50×200 px logo and that was fine until we tried to have a new logo/banner in container width. It is not possible to find the right settings in customizer, neither for retina nor else. The new logo always was either too small or completely invisible with a huge place-holder on different screens.

Upload again, rename, again, tweak css somehow, de-activate caching and other plugins… nothing helped until we de-activated GP-Premium for a moment and surprisingly the logo was back in the expected size. Since many design elements on https://mygoal.de are made with GP premium we could not leave it like this.

Somewhere in the forum we’ve found a hook, that does the trick for the moment.

MyGoal Training® | Trainingspläne für Ausdauersport | Komm gesund ins Ziel

Could you please try whether you can re-produce the issue on any other installation? What could we do to get rid of the workaround here?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi there,

looks like that image has been hooked into your site ?

Yes it has been hooked today because the customizer did not work.

What is the objective ? To show a different image on smaller screen sizes ?

No, just to show the logo image from customizer as expected.

Can you enable the logo and remove the hook so we can see the issue?

Hello David, I replaced the hook by the customizer logo (not retina). Now it looks all right. Funny. We’ve gone mad about it. I leave it that way now, but please leave it open, just in case.
