Displaying menu option, not on new tab or page, but in a div on the Home page

Hi,
How can I modify the Awaken theme, so that the Menu, on the Home page, displays IN a div on the Home page?
Thank you :-)
Hi there,
not sure i fully understand how you would want this to look. Do you have an example image you could share ?
Hi!
No image...like the Home page look and would like to keep the "links" in the menu to generate in that location.
Had to realize that some structuring of the display for the Blog will need to be done...do not like the way it seems to be a long page of words...need it to give summary and pic of each and from that the reader could choose what they want to look at. And want THAT selection to generate on the Home page.
...if still baffling, I will see what I can come up with to show more clearly.
Thank you David!...sorry to be a trial. :-))
David,
I like how this displays...pulling together a pic with a summary of the post on the page:
https://pennyhoarder.com
...also, want to keep the selected post on the same page, such as here, where a blog post has been selected:
https://www.thepennyhoarder.com/investing/stock-trading-for-beginners/?aff_sub2=homepage
That site has a Geo Location lock on it - and i am outside the area it can viewed.
Any chance you can provide a screenshot of that site?
David,
Thank you so much! Here are some screenshots...hope they display correctly.
This is 1st of 2 shots of the homepage:

This second shot shows more blog posts on the same homepage:

Hi there,
Are we trying to tweak the display of the blog posts or the menu?
Hi Tom!
Display of the blog posts. ... sorry, ran on to mumble there. :-/
You will need add featured images to your posts:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adding-featured-images/
Then you can use the Blog Layout module:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/blog-content-layout/
To position the Featured image, set excerpt length etc.
We can help with some of the finer points if you get stuck
Just curious, does it matter which way this is done, using a plug-in vs blog layout module?
I would go with the blog layout module if you can make it work - no need to introduce a new plugin if it's not necessary.
