Display blog title and meta date over featured image

Good day,
How do I display the blog title and post metadata over/inside the featured image on the blog archive page, with a color overlay block over the image to display the text better?
Something similar to this: https://www.mooitroues.co.za/kategorie/troues/
But with the white block and text center center over the feature image, and the white block must be somewhat see-through.

Hi there,
you can use the Block Element - Content Template and design your own archive post 'card' using the GenerateBlocks plugin:

When you select the Content Template type, you are given a choice of templates - there is one titled: Layout with Offset content.
It would be a good starting template, it just requires some padding / margin adjustment and for you to remove the content you don't require.
