Display a Custom Post Type in a widget in the footer

I've created a custom Post Type, https://www.macka.com.au/featured_gig/macka-at-club-willoughby/
and I would like to display it in the footer, bottom, right widget.
How can I display the CPT?
Hi there,
so when you tried the WPSP method, when you created your list did you select the correct post type and any taxonomies that are being used? I just done a quick test ( without the Beaver Themer ) and this worked ok.
