Dispatch Layout

Hey,
I've added Dispatch layout to a blog I had and the layout is bit off.
I used to have Thrive Themes and, as you can see from the link below, everything is was too short and not feeling the same as the preview I viewed from Dispatch.
Two questions here:
1. How can I make sure my website looks and feel the same as the Dispatch preview;
2. Also, is there any Dispatch documentation or tutorial to know how to take the most advantage from it?

The initial issues i can see on your home page:
1. Header grid - you have a post that has no featured image.
2. Vertical post images are causing the height of the columns to vary. Ideally all featured images should have the same aspect ratio and size.
