Disable page features meta boxes not working on specific page

I posted the following support question to the author of the LearnPress plugin. Not sure if it is a GP issue or an LP issue? I need to resolve it as LP is the core feature of site I am currently developing.

I am using LP with the GeneratePress theme.

The theme has meta boxes on the right side of each page to disable page features.

I have edited the following pages so that they have no side bars and no footer (ie just LP content):

LP Profile
LP Cart
LP Checkout
Become a Teacher

However, when I make the same changes on the LP Courses page (ie select no side bars and no footer in the meta box) the page still displays a sidebar and the footer.

It is not a caching problem as I have cleared the cache and rechecked.

Why can I edit every other LP page successfully, but cannot make the exactly same changes to the LP Courses page?

Please let me know how I can fix this issue.
