Database access problems

Hi there,
I would like to read out several databases on my side. The databases are accessed via a self-made plugin.
Part of the data is actually output. The other part should be displayed by clicking on the result. However, this link - it's javascript:void(0) - does not work. In WordPress 5.5.6 (without GeneratePress) the output worked.
What can I do? Any idea?
Hi there,
I can't see how GP could be the problem here especially when there is a self-made plugin involved.
Have you tried any debugging tips like disabling all plugins or switching to a Twenty series WP theme?
WP 5.5.6 is also a very old version.
