Dashicon Icons Missing

Hello, I've searched high and low... the dashicons no longer appear on my site. Specifically, the Search magnifying glass \f179 and the back to top arrow. (see 404 page results with missing icon) I'd rather not load the fontawesome libraries. These are the only two I need. Thank you.
