Hello
1: I want to implement the Social Follow links from ‘Slideout’ site library theme in my site. See image below:
I want this only to appear in Slideout menu in mobile and not the regular navigation bar in Desktop mode.
2: How to display the site logo at the top of Slideout Menu?
How can I achieve these?
Note: Have included site URL herewith.
Thanks for the help. π

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
1. We can use CSS to do that. The site you linked isn’t using Slideout though. Can you double check?
Then I can provide the correct CSS.
2. Couple options. You can try adding the logo as a menu item, or use this hook:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/generate_inside_slideout_navigation/You can also try using the slideout navigation widget area, then we can try to rearrange with some CSS.
Let me know π

The site you linked isnβt using Slideout though.
Actually it is. Its using Slideout Menu only in Mobile and regular Navigation on desktop.
That is why I had mentioned earlier:
I want this only to appear in Slideout menu in mobile and not the regular navigation bar in Desktop mode.
For the second request, I’ll go with the Hooks option and keep you posted π

StaffCustomer SupportSo what exactly is the problem?
I currently don’t see the social share links on desktop already – they are added in the slideout navigation widget area, so if you don’t use slideout navigation on desktop, then they shouldn’t show.
Let me know if I”m missing something π

Let me clear things up a bit.
Current Setup:
In mobile: Slideout Navigation
In Desktop: Normal Navigation. No Slideout.
Currently there are NO SOCIAL icons anywhere (in mobile or in desktop).I know that if I add the social icons in navigation menu, they would show up in Slideout Menu as well.
What I am looking to achieve:
To add social follow links as in below image (including the text “Follow me”) in the Slideout Menu (Only in mobile. I don’t want them showing up in desktop).
Let me know if you need more information π

StaffCustomer SupportSo the default Slideout template is adding social share links as the slideout navigation widget.
If you do the same as well, it shouldn’t show up on desktop as you aren’t using slideout navigation on desktop.
Let me know if this makes sense or I’m still missing something π
