Customize "Global Layout Settings" from the front end

Hi Tom,
Generatepress is an awesome theme and love the constant updates on it.
Just had a quick question, is it possible to customize the global layout settings (for posts importantly) from the front end say for example I don't want any side bars by default and want the post page to be full width by default.
If not, I am assuming I will have to change the single.php or single-<post_type>.php. If yes what should I do to achieve full width screen ?
Thanks a ton.
Hi there,
You can actually do this in "Customize > Layout".
More info here: https://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/choosing-sidebar-layouts/
Let me know if that helps or not :)
Hi Tom,
Thanks for the quick reply. Yep that works!
I had one more query, is there a function which I can use in my single-<post_type>.php file to generate section layout and other things related?
Thanks.
You mean the Sections add-on? Not very easily. This topic may help: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/set-a-page-template-to-use-sections/
