Customize blog page

Hi, I'm trying to customize my blog page with a block (w/background image and word Blog as H1, that's it) on top before the articles. But once the page is published the block do not appears. Only the article. Here's where I want to show it: localydigital.com

Hi there,
the blog ie. the page that you set to display your latest posts in Dashboard > Readings. cannot be edited like that.
You can however add Block Elements to it like the page hero:
