Customization of Avery theme home

Hi there,

The home page of Avery is a static page which is different from the Marketer's (index page). You can edit the entire home page directly in page editor: Dashboard > Pages > Home.

For the question regarding your site:
- The title is added in a Header Element, you can disable the element if you don't need it.
Go to Appearance > Elements > Disable the Header Element assigned to front page or blog page.

- The category title is currently inserted by a header element, you can add the below content to the element or simply disable it and let the default category title and category description show (might need do some settings).

Hi there,

if you edit that Page, and select the Container Block where you can see the Image, in the Settings > Background Image, that is where the Image is set.

If you want, you can simply select the Container Block - copy CTRL-C, and then go to a new page and Paste the block in - then just update the content and the background.

How do I customize my home page to show the featured Blog post images?

the Avery theme uses the WP Show Posts plugin to display the short list of posts on the front page.
By default it should display the featured images.

If you want to raise a new topic where you can share a link to your site in the Private Information field we can take a look.

Hello, I have the same question as the OP - "why homepage if setted up with “last posts” shows “BLOG” title? How to disable it?"

However, I cannot find where to disable the header element. I go to Appearance > Elements ... but don't know where to look after that.
