Custom SVG icons distorted after saving

I have premium versions of GP and GB. I uploaded custom SVG icons but after inserting and saving, they got distorted. Like the parts of the icon that should be clear, got filled in. Any know a fix?

Can you share the custom SVG icon code and the page in question? So we can inspect and cross reference between the 2 on what may be the possible issue why the distortion occurs.

I think I messed up the icon in Illustrator, which is what caused the issue. I was able to resolve by opening in TextEdit and cleaning up the code. Thanks for your help.
