Hi, I have Elementor Pro installed with GeneratePress pro theme. I have a static page not linked to posts as my site’s frontpage. I have named all the pages in my site as follows including the home page: “Ben Goren | [name of page]”. I have my site title empty and set to hide. All my pages except my home page display the name of the page in their browser tab correctly as above. The home page tab shows the site address “https://bgoren.com” despite the name of the page u=in the dashboard being the same format as the other pages: “Ben Goren | Home”

If I write ‘Ben Goren’ in the Site Identity > Site Title then the home page tab simply reads ‘Ben Goren’ as required but then the rest of the pages are automatically amended and then look like this: “Ben Goren | [name of page] – Ben Goren”

What I want is for my frontpage / homepage to read “Ben Goren”, not the http address, without affecting the name format of all the other pages.

    Trinity, a little help? …

    Hi there,

I would recommend using a SEO plugin for this.
You can prefix the pages with the Site Title. And edit the home page to only display the Site title.
This will remove the need of adding the Site title into every page
