Custom sidebar and content width

Hello,

I am trying to adjust the content and sidebar widths for my site.

Content width should be 800px and the right sidebar width should be 300px.

I am getting confused with your percentage concept instead of pixel. Please guide me so that I can achieve my desire result.

Sorry but I am confused again.

Let me know what should be the Container Width so that I can achieve 800px content width and right sidebar width 300px.

What should I post in the CSS for the above results.

It's really difficult and not very good to set a fixed content a sidebar width, especially if you are using the separate container option.

Would you need to include the separating space?

What about mobile?

It can't be responsive if both content and sidebar are fixed width.
