Using Sections Builder

Hello,

I am building a site for low-end users so performance is key, which is why I am using your theme. But I need some quite specific navigation. For example, if someone clicks through to a category I would want them to see (top to bottom):

  • A full-width search bar
  • Top 10 (most read) posts for that category
  • Hyperlinks to posts in that category
  • Tag cloud to content in that category

I think this could probably be achieved with some kind of Pagebuilder. I have managed to do one of the simpler pages as a test (see the link I have shared) that shows:

  • A full-width search bar
  • All categories
  • Tag cloud for whole site
  • List of post

If I go the Pagebuilder route I will likely use SiteOrigin as it seems to have the best performance: https://pagely.com/blog/wordpress-page-builders/ but I am wondering if it is possible to achieve the above layouts without using a Pagebuilder at all?

Thanks for the input,

Grant

Hi there,

Having a hard time picturing what you are trying to achieve.

Any chance you have an example to show?

Let me know :)

Hi Leo,

It doesn't have to look too fancy. I achieved the second, simpler page here: http://bit.ly/2EC8c5x and I am no developer.

I could send you some wireframes if that would help?

Thanks,

Grant

Not sure what I'm looking at on that page?

If you can find me some sort of example that would be good. If not a mock-up should also help.
