Hi, I’m currently working on including 2 different versions of jQuery.
If I understood it right from the previous threads of the forum – I need a hook and there to code so for some pages I need an alternative jQuery.
So, I use jSsor, it works great on the frontend, the problem occurs however at the backend – the page editor can’t save the page.
After installing the jQuery Updater plugin, it all works, but another plugin now refuses to function.
So, my question is – is there an alternative to the integrated Hooks feature(plugin) as I don’t use GP on this site (the client uses another theme and my job is only a page, but I severely lack this Hook function)
And also I found the topic about the registering another version, but it was so complecated I didn’t get a thing.
Now I need to figure out which exactly version of jQuery works for the backend and then to include this precise version for one page only, or to make it in no conflict mode if the client decides to use jSsor on another page.
Thanks in advance, tried to include it through the script simple link, doesn’t work as it’s a backend.

Ok, found an article they recommend https://wordpress.org/plugins/code-snippets/ – can that help? And where to include it? And the most important – what is the code?

Oh, the conflicted plugin’s author released an update.
Besides, I found the plugin which allows to turn off any plugin per page/post context:

    Hi there,

Sounds like you should be checking with the support of another theme that you are using as this is the support forum for GeneratePress.

Code Snippets plugin also has its own support forum:
    https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/code-snippets/

For general WordPress questions, you can also try a forum like this:
    https://stackoverflow.com/

    Thanks for your understanding 🙂
