custom fonts into the customizer

Hello,
I am unable to import custom fonts into the customizer. I have used code and snippets used on other sites that work. But the font is not found in the font manager.
I have uploaded the file to the medai library, added the CSS and snippet. See code below.
Hi there,
the PHP Snippet is not required in the new Typography > Font Manager.
1. In Font Manager -> Add New Font.
2. in the Font Family Name field, add the name of your font as it is in your @font-face - font-family property.
On this last note i would suggest removing any spaced from the font-family in the CSS and in this field.
3. DO NOT check the Google API toggle.
Now GP will list that font in the Add Typography font list.
