Currency Switcher in Main Menu

Hi there,
I would like to include a currency switcher in the main menu. On the other hand, I would like to keep the use of plugins to a minimum in order to keep GP fast and tidy.
Is there any nice and recommended way to add it within GP please?

Hi there,
this is something best left to a plugin as it not only needs to do the conversion it needs to have access to the currency conversion tables. So not a simple thing to do. And it doesn't matter whether your adding your own function or a plugin they are both code so best to just look for a lightweight plugin
