Creating a new image size

Hi,
In my LCP diagnostics in pagespeed insights I am seeing an image pop up as one of the problems (I wrote about this in a previous post but there were other issues you recommended I fix first).
In the information (attached) I see that the image height is 500 and width 750, is this the size that the picture had to be resized to? My images in generatepress are set to medium large (i believe 768 in width).
It is worth recreating a new image size of 750x500 and regnerate the thumbnails? I know this may not fix the LCP but is it worth doing for an extra bit of speed? I'm also still getting a recommendation in pageinsights for 'properly sized images.'

you're LCP times on PSI are really good - they are way below the 2.5s threshold for CWV.
No matter what time it is - Google always displays the LCP element. Its just a diagnostic to show the element the was used to calculate LCP times - its not an error to be fixed :)
And yes the medium_large image ( set by WP ) is 768px, which is the perfect size for your images on portrait tablet devices ( when sidebar stacks below content ).
For mobile devices, google tests on a Moto 4G 360px screen, but like most devices its x2/x3 HD ( retina ) screen, so its going to want to grab at least a 720px image, and the nearest it has is 768px. So no real benefit in providing a smaller image to trim off a couple of bytes that the browser may not even use :)
