[Support request] Creating a magazine-like hero to display latest posts

Hey,

I would like to create a magazine-like hero for my website that displays my latest posts.

I would love it to look like the one on this site: www(dot)investinblockchain(dot)com (the 3 blocks that show the 3 latest articles).

I’m not a technical person at all, but I believe it might be possible to do this with “Elements”?

Any help would be extremely appreciated.

Hi there,

You will need a plugin like WP Show Posts and Header Elements:

It will require some custom CSS to duplicate that look though.

Thanks Leo! I’m not technical at all though and I don’t know how to write CSS :/

I’m just looking to do something simple like the hero that this theme has: http://theme-sphere.com/smart-mag/demos/trendy/

Do you know if there is a way to copy the CSS that makes it work? Or are there maybe any other resources that you could point me to?

I have read through the posts from this site. It looks interessting, but should be difficult to convert an existing site with many posts to this.

It would be very nice, if there where a documentation, how to get only the 4 featured posts on top of the homepage, to a different site, e.g. to Marketer.

Marketer isn’t very hard to replicate 🙂

I often think it would be nice, to take a specific section from one site to another site.

I would love to read more documentation how to do this. Similar to your documentation with the Page Hero Examples.
