Creating a different blog template

On our site we use a pretty standard GP layout but some posts I would like to have a different design to give them more impact, for example the post title over an image that goes the full height and width of the screen.

Can you give me an idea how to do this?

Is it possible to create some kind of template that I could reuse this layout for future selected posts?

I have GP Pro and GB Pro.

Hi Brian,

You can definitely do this with GP Premium's Block Elements - Content Template or Block Elements - Page Hero.

Here's how you can go do it.

First, create the desired layout on the Block Element. You can set dynamic post titles for the Headline block, and set a dynamic image as well.

You then set the Block's element type to "Content template" or "Page Hero" depending on the purpose of the block.

You then set the display rule to "some posts" of your preference.
