Correct image format

Hi everyone,
What is the best image format for your theme? I executed a screen shot and measured the uploaded images, they measure 725x290 pixels, some webmasters that use your theme upload 750x410 pixel images, I would like to know what you think is the really correct format to use for a perfect vision at every resolution.

Hi there,
There isn't a definite answer for this - it depends on your container width.
Generally just make sure the width of the image is similar to the container width and you should be good to go.
Static images are responsive so they should re-size to whatever resolution.

I left the container width predefined by the theme, but you're right, I made a screen shot and measured the exact size of the images, the width is 725 pixels .. So for this site I'll use this width, right :)
