Copyright not working ;latest GP premium

I am working on a new website and the footer box will not accept the % key to add the copyright. I can type the 5 but not the %.

will it allow you to copy and paste into the % into the field?
yes it did - and now it is working sheesh probably chalk it up to PEBCAK :(
