Fernando
I insert text in a category and everything is fine, the problem is that when I create an entry and assign that category, the content is duplicated. Why does this happen?
Example:
https://repuestocar.online/limpiadores-llantas-coche/January 17, 2019 at 10:51 am #784898Leo
StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
I’m not quite sure what you mean.
Can you try #1 here to eliminate any plugin conflicts first?
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/debugging-tips/If that doesn’t help, can you try #4 here so we know if it’s a GP issue or not?
It will also help if you can allow us to right click when debugging.
Let me know 🙂

Hi Leo, thanks!
I’ve deactivated all the plugins and the problem continues.
I’ve tried changing the theme to “twenty seventeen” and the problem doesn’t appear.
Can you check now what it’s all about? I’ve activated the GeneratePress theme again.

StaffCustomer SupportThe page link you provided is now showing: “¡Vaya! Esa página no se puede encontrar.”
Do you see the problem again with GP activated?

Hi Leo,
Ok, show this other url: https://repuestocar.online/category/anticongelantes-coche/
There you can see how the content of the category is first, then in half an entry and then again the content of the category with the same images.
Why does it happen?

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi there,
Are you using any hooks? If so, do any of those hooks have anything related to taxonomy descriptions?
January 25, 2019 at 12:15 am #791681Fernando
Hi Tom,
I use a hook for Google Tag Manager. Anyway all plugins are disabled right now…
How do we do it? Do I give you access to the administrator by private?January 25, 2019 at 8:46 am #792116Leo
StaffCustomer SupportYou can send it through Account Issue here:
https://generatepress.com/contact/Please leave all plugins disabled and include the topic URL.
Thanks!

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi there,
Your parent theme archive.php has this line added to it: http://prntscr.com/mdiskb
If you remove that, the issue should go away.

Hi Tom,
What does that mean? What has already been fixed with that?
Do I have to include that code in every installation that happens the same? Or is it an exceptional case?
February 3, 2019 at 1:33 am #800054Fernando
Hi,
I’ve activated all the plugins again to see if it’s true that it was fixed, and the duplicate content reappears in the category pages as before…What’s going on? 🙁

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
go to Dashboard > Appearance > Editor.
Select the archive.php file as per the image Tom provided.
Find the Line that Tom has underlined in red in that image.
And delete that line. And then save the changes.February 3, 2019 at 11:39 am #800392Fernando
It worked,
Thank you so much! 😀
