Content background colour not showing

Hi,
My name is Brian Thompson. I am developing a site and have run into a problem. I am trying to set the background colour for the content but when I went into Customizing ▸ Colors ▸ Content ▸ background and I set it to rgba(26,188,156,0.55), the changes didn't take effect. Could you please tell me what I am doing wrong?

Sections have their own background color settings - you would beed to change them on each Section.
