    HI, guys!

I want to understand container widths.

Does the container width consist of the following:

width of content + left padding + right padding + left border + right border + left margin + right margin

    Thank you!

I see that your default container width for blog is 1100px.

And it looks the actual post content width is 670px.

    Am I correct? Thank you!

    Hi there,

    For this page?

    The container width is 1200px.

The sidebar is 300px and the post area is 870px. 30px for the separating space.

    Hi, Leo.

    Thanks for the information.

    I guess I don’t understand container widths.

I want my post area to be 650px and I guess the sidebar to be half of that.

What is the best course of action to achieve those numbers? Thank you.

You can achieve that by playing around with these settings:

    One more question:

After I’ve played around with container layout, how can I determine the exact width of the post area?

I want this information so that I can optimize my image sizes prior to uploading them.

    Thank you.

    Hi, Leo.

Is there any way to control the container widths of the post area and sidebar separately? Thank you.
