    Dear Sir/Madam,

Please refer to screenshot (https://prnt.sc/nwbhct), I find the content out of the container even I set the page builder container as contained (https://prnt.sc/nwbjox), I mainly use the Toolset for my website design and it forces the style to Bootstrap 3.0. Is it not compatible with GeneratePress?

May I know whether GeneratePress is Bootstrap 3.0 or others? How can I fix this instead of a fix by custom stylesheet setting?

    Best regards,

    Kelvin

    Hi there,

GP doesn’t use the bootstrap framework, it only uses the unsemantic grid framework for its columns.
Its quite common to see this conflict as bootstap is using the .content class which is common place on the vast majority of themes.

You may want to check with Toolset if they have a simple override function to remove the bootstrap settings.

    Dear David,

Thanks for your promoted reply. May I know what grid system that GP use? Why I use Bootstrap because it provides a fancy responsive design for desktop and mobile. It saved me a lot of time on custom styling.

    Best regards,

    Kelvin.

Unsemantic grid – its solely used for the Content/Sidebar and footer widget layouts. We will be looking at a Flexbox alternative in the future:

This may be of interest to you as it allows you to isolate where the bootstrap CSS works:
