Hi there,
I am trying to use conditional menus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/conditional-menus/) to have different secondary menus on different pages – it works well but I lose the arrows for drop-down menus. Know of a way I can get them back?
Here’s a link to the homepage, and the page where the menu appears:
http://michaelg.co.za/renlyn (No menu)
http://michaelg.co.za/renlyn/agritech (Secondary Menu visible)
The goal is to have multiple secondary menus appear on the various sub-sections of the site.

Looks like it’s the plugin that is causing that.
Hmm can you try this plugin instead? https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/if-menu/

The conditional menus plugin is not adding the arrow to the menus. I tried creating two new “dummy” menus in GP, then assigning these menus in WordPress. I then added these new menu names to the loop in navigation.php that adds the arrows. Still, no luck!
thanks
Jon

Unfortunately I haven’t found a fix for this yet either – haven’t tried too much yet though.
I couldn’t get the other plugin Leo suggested to work either, it didn’t do anything…

As for the other menu, the theme will add arrows to 3 theme locations: primary, secondary and slideout. If the plugin is adding more theme locations, we would have to add them to the arrow condition with this filter: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/generate_menu_arrow_theme_locations/

Tom, it would be great if you could provide a compatibility solution with Conditional Menu. Maybe a tutorial?
By the way: GeneratePress is an amazing theme! ๐Thanks!
